Another interesting week completed with the sign off culminating in the release of Robert Parker’s Bordeaux 2012 scores. Time will tell if this will have an affect on pricing decisions being made across the channel. Angelus and Pavie 2012 bucked the general trend of lower prices by increasing their prices in response to recent re-classification, but it appears not many cases have been sold on the back of this. Will the remaining Chateaux take note and will consumers see the prices they want to see in the coming weeks? We’ll keep you posted on that.
It has been another busy week for Cavex and we are very pleased with all our new member registrations and would like to again welcome and thank friends old and new. The bids and offers continue to grow steadily, but this week we have been overwhelmed with the support coming in terms of portfolios being loaded to the free management system. We cant thank you enough for using this application.
Current statistics for the week:
- Total value of member portfolios – £8.5 million
- Total value of current live offers – £700,000 with 923 cases for sale
- Total value of live bids – £220,000 with 220 cases looking to be purchased
- Average price of a case sold – £1460 IB (12 x 75cl)
Stock Offer Highlights
Our highlights this week are from the current live offers on the platform. Remember that these prices include In Bond delivery to a UK bonded warehouse or can be collected for export directly and can be bid against at any time. These items are our top picks and are priced very well in the market if not the best price available.
